Blessed Sacrament, one of Springfield’s oldest catholic churches, underwent an 11,000 square foot preservation and restoration project on the interior and exterior edifice to maintain it’s original beauty and traditional architecture. Improvements were made to the sanctuary and altar including a new heating system, flooring, windows, baptismal font in the shape of a cross, as well as the addition of handicap accessibility.
